Open Section

Once again continuing his impressive play, Eric “Lucky” Walker wins the open section once again going 3.5 / 4.0 on the day! 2nd Place found 5 players tied with 2.5 points; Abigail Lin, Maxwell Thomas, Jacob Hanna, Matthew Cambell and Gerald Battaglia all finished with 2.5 / 4.0 for the day. Lucky takes the overall lead over in the 2025 Chess League (Open Section).

U1000 Section

Jacob Walker introduces himself to the Chess League by going a perfect 4.0 / 4.0 on the day to establish himself as a force to be reconned with and makes his case to play in the Open Section! There was a 3-way tie for 2nd Place; Rhea Parayil, Peter Newton and Nicholas Irons finish tied with 3.0 / 4.0 points! Gary Richard maintains the overall lead in the Under section but Peter Newton, Gurnoor Farmaha and Vihaan Shah are following closely behind with future aspirations of taking over 1st Place!
