October ’25 Chess League Results
Thank you to all of our players this year! We have so much to be thankful and grateful for and we appreciate all the players and player’s families through-out this year. Its been a fun year with larger crowds and registrants than we have ever seen! As the 2025 regular season concludes today, we are excited about the upcoming playoff and what the next years will bring!
Today we recognized our winners from 2024 and appreciate the energy and life these three bring to our Club! Congratulations to:
- 2024 Most Improved Player – Lily She
- 2024 U1100 Section Champion – Jalen Taylor
- 2024 Open Section Champion – Abigail Lin
Open Section
Isaac Nielson and Alexander Looney battle it out splitting shares of 1st Place, both finishing with 3.0 / 4 points on the day! After a sudden withdrawal by one of the contender’s 3rd Place found a 4-way tie between Players at 2.0 / 4. Congratulations to Johnathan Long, Darby Williams, Lily She and Jalen Taylor for their finish today!
U1000 Section
After another strong showing, Vedant Tiwari wins first place for the second time this season with a perfect score of 4.0 / 4 points. Gurnoor Farmaha secures second with a very solid 3.5 / 4 points while Peter Newton and Ryan Kim put a bow on their seasons tied for 3rd Place at 3.0 / 4 points. Congratulations to all players!
