2026 Chess League Playoffs

Open Section Registrants

Current Open Section Registrants are shown highlighted in yellow. The “Playoff Qualifiers” on this list are eligible for Open Section registration (solely) until November 8th, then the remaining “Alternate” spots will open to fill those remaining. Should more than 4 register, then round robin play will be on November 14th with the playoff and finals on December 5th. If no more than 4 register, 1st round will be two games G/60;+10 with a 2 player final with two G/60;+10 games. Tie-breaker (if necessary) would be a G/20;+5 game until there is a definitive winner.

The top 8 players of the open sections have the first opportunity for registration (https://caissachess.net/register/9268) until November 8th. At this point any playoff spot not filled will be open to all players, with priority given to the higher of the registrant in the 2026 Chess League Standings.
